Requirements to Join:
Live in Travis County (exceptions can be considered)
Be 9 yrs. old or in 3rd grade
No older than 18 on August 31st of the 4-H year
Complete at least one project
Horse Ownership NOT required
Must maintain passing grades
Pay annual dues of $35.00
There are three parts to 4-H enrollment

1.  Complete a 4-H Family Profile by registering on-line through 4-H Connect:

Enroll in 4-H Connect

After you complete your family profile, please add your child's information to 4-H connect.             In our Club,  your child should enroll in the Horse Project and the Community Service               Project.  If you child is an officer or a reporter, they should also enroll in the Leadership              Project.   Horses Rock also offers a Vet Science Project.   If you have problems                        enrolling in 4-H Connect, please contact John Riegler, Administrative Assistant

2.  Complete an Adult Volunteer Application and pay $10 for background check (good for 3 years)
PARENTS: You are asked to complete an adult volunteer application.   The State ofTexas
requires all adults who attend meetings with children, drive kids, or who have contact
with kids through a club like 4-H submit to a criminal background check.
